This past year, Robert started not feeling well. We took him to the hospital October 28, 2025 just thinking he had food poisoning. It was discovered then that he was in stage 5 kidney failure and ulcerative colitis. This man who, for the past 20 years, has been the sole provider was now suddenly disabled. I had to find a job with no current job skills or history. It can't be just any job either since Robert can no longer drive and our two sons work full time and attend college full time there is no one else to transport him to and from his numerous appointments. We are currently in the transplant list. Just last week we had a doctor tell us we have months left. We are in desperate need of any help we can get. Thank you and God Bless.

We received a call regarding an individual in need from a dear friend. The family chooses to stay anonymous due to being shared on Facebook. Our 3rd family was recently diagnosed with stage 4 liver and esophagus cancer. They need to start treatment immediately however they are unable to afford the out of pocket expense for the port needed. OHS is stepping in to assist with this down payment.
